Heritage return to Blackburn Cathedral

After completing masonry and roofing works to the North and South Transepts at Blackburn Cathedral in 2016, Heritage Conservation Restoration Ltd have returned to carry out the next phase of works required.

The project includes masonry and repointing works to the West Tower, North Transept, and East Chancel walls. The works also include the renewal of the Tower roof with new Lead work. The works are funded by the World War I memorial fund and started at the end of May with a completion at the beginning of December.
